Breeezy has the programs to browse the Internet and Microsoft Office files (DOC, XLS, and PPT_converted_to_PDF), so it works well as a general-purpose browser. Other add-ons are available through the Package Manager (see Menu - Setup - Full Package Manager).
To use Open Office in Breeezy, here is your guide:
- Search Google for "puppy linux openoffice sfs puppylinux.ca" and find the most recent OpenOffice packages for Puppy Linux. The file is one big sfs of about 100 MB (and the Oxygen version is even bigger because of its many add-ons). Change the file name so that it ends with _213.sfs
(am not putting a punctuation there to avoid confusion), put it beside pup_save.2fs (the save file) then reboot. After booting, find the soffice executable file in /opt/openoffice.orgx.xx/program and drag it to the desktop (this will create a shortcut).
Here is the current download URL:

A small, old version of 72 MB (OpenOffice 1.1.5) that can use Open Document-formattted files is downloadable from http://minipc.org/pup/o115.sfs
Change its file name so that it ends with _213.sfs and then reboot. Find the soffice executable file in /usr/OOo115/program and drag it to the desktop (this will create a shortcut).
Setting an icon for the desktop shortcut involves right-click on the shortcut then choose "Set Icon". Here is a suggested icon
